This module is one of four that will be designed and installed on site at the Chamblet Family Home in Dorchester, MA. This home is owned and operated by Victory Housing Program, with a playspace currently managed by Horizons for Homeless Children. the house’s backyard and median amount of users would benefit from a new playspace that engages the outdoors.

the module was painted in different shades of light blue, in line with our client’s request for trauma-informed design tactics. since the children of this home may be coming from traumatic backgrounds, we had to consider any physical or visual triggers.

the site is the backyard behind two buildings, both owned by our client.
